Academic Courses
Prinberk High School uses Acelerate curriculum for its high school program. Accelerate courses are accredited by Cognia. Accelerate offers rich, engaging standards-based courses. Students are engaged in a variety of activities and assessment including, labs, journals, written assignments, discussions, and written exams. Students can delve into a variety of interests through Accelerate’ s CTE, elective, and world language course offerings.
Program Options
PHS provides three different paths for students to achieve high school diploma depending on the students’ goals for the future. Parents and students must carefully examine each path and choose appropriately. PHS’s academic advisors are also available to guide students in this process.
Path 1
Diploma Path 1 is designed for students looking to immediately enter the workforce or enter community and technical colleges. It is also highly recommended for students to research the admission requirements per college.
Path 2
Diploma Path 2 is designed for students seeking entrance to a four-year college or University or for students seeking eligibility for the NCAA. It is also highly recommended for students to research the admission requirements per college.
Path 3
Diploma Path 3 is an Honors Path. It is designed for students seeking an honors type diploma and entrance to a four-year college or University. It is also highly recommended for students to research the admission requirements per college.
